Jan 10th, 2008 ----------------- Well, to be as candid as possible, things don't work for shit right now. I am in the middle of re-doing everything. With that said, feel free to look around all you want, just remember shit doesn't work so don't get pissed when it messes up. I recommend bookmarking thing site and coming back in a month. If you see a different message, it works. If not……Wait more. I hope to get it up and running ASAP but sometimes this just takes a little bit to do. Jun 9th, 2007 ----------------- Ok, so as you can see the layout has changed. Also, there are a lot more options to pick from. :). Well I have worked long and hard and created this new layout for you to enjoy. Also, we are most likely less than a month away from having our programmer finish the back end PHP scripting. What does this mean? hmm, basically none of the option above will really work at all. I took down the picture script because a new one is on the way. We are very excited for our launch. Soon there will be so much to offer here and we can't wait to show you. So Our apologies for not a lot working but remember this site technically has not launched yet, so don't expect much. :) Also, on a side note; the video script will look weird for a few days while I convert the template. If you go there and see something crazy, don't worry. "Time is never Wasted when you Wasted all the time" Mar 29th, 2007 ----------------- So far I think the video script is working. I did revert it back to the default template and it will be like that untill I am done with the new layout. On that note I am re-designing the template to something thats a little easer on the eyes. :) Stay tuned and things will look a lil different soon. For now thats its, its a slow start (like 4 months, lol) but when this drops its gonna be hottttt. lol Feb 21th, 2007 ----------------- SERVER MOVE!!!! So I got everything moved over for a fully dedicated server. As of right now I am getting the server modules installed for the video section, so the uploads will NOT WORK I will let you know when they do. Also I am working on a new layout so I will convert the video section to the old default style untill Im done with the layout. We still are not done with the features we want so everything is still like 50% done. Stay tuned for more news. :) Dec 19th, 2006 ----------------- Well we got our model! Everybody meet Ashley (look to your right). As of right now that's the only place she is. As soon as more time comes my way the right side will display a random picture of Ashley AND I will have a section dedicated to her (pics). And we all know you will love that right? Right. Dec 12th, 2006 ----------------- Fuck ya...Ok, so the video script is up and running....just needs to be re-designed with my templates. The Picture script is up and running....fully. :) So the two main parts are fucking up and running and to say the least I'm excited about that. It was a bitch, that's for sure. But hey, its worth it. Also, check out the banner on the bottom, I have a 6 person Keg Tap I ordered from this place, its sick as hell. No fucking lines for the keg, bad ass. I think this is a MUST for any party. But do like I did and chain that shit down to your keg, cause there are some fucked up people who like to steal shit. Soon I will add a "previous news" section for all this crap I'm writing...It's starting to get big. So get your ass over to the videos and pictures section and start uploading. AND SPREAD THE WORD!!! I have invested a lot of time and money into this site and I plan on it blowin' up. Forums....Well, they are installed but NOTHING is configured as of YET. They might get configured in a day or two....I'm not sure yet. Whenever I have time basically. So if you know you will be playing a part in these sign up and wait for it. Dec 10th, 2006 ----------------- To say the least I'm fucking excited right now. After many expenses and hassle trying to get the video script installed I finally have it up and running. Right now it is only the basic template provided by Clipshare. I am working on getting it configured to my needs. As of this moment you CAN create a username and start uploading videos. Its going to be a while before everything is up and running to the fullest so give me time. :) Dec 5th, 2006 ----------------- I purchased a dedicated server today and am in the process of switching everything over. In the mean time, little to nothing will work besides this main page (and not much of that will work either). Just so everyone knows I have found a great script that I will be buying soon to pretty much make this like YouTube or Myspace when it comes to videos. Technically I have not launched the site yet, everything is still just in the production stage. Please add me to your Myspace and wait for news to come. I want to get everything up and running ASAP so almost all my free time consists of configuring and uploading shit. I am investing a lot of time and money into making this a hot ass site. Just wait :) Nov 20th, 2006 ----------------- The beta stages of Wastedfun is now unfolding. Before I continue I would like to say I am going to need a lot of pictures of you and your friends getting/being drunk as hell to get things rolling. First, The Launch; In launching the page it will start off with just pictures. I am currently looking for a Linux based script to take uploaded videos and convert them for web streaming just like Youtube and Myspace does. ATM I have found two, one of which is free and the other cost an unknown amount of money to license. I have to do more research to find out how much this will cost me but in the mean time if you know of a good, affordable Linux based script to do this, please send me an E-mail. Second, What I want; I would like to get my page up to par with other college based websites and have the ability to have uploaded pictures AND videos. Ultimately I plan on sticking out by offering photo contest on a weekly/monthly bases to boost traffic and to just make people happy. :) A few examples of contests I will be doing will be things like, the best keg stand picture wins $100, or the best Beer Pong picture, etc. I am going to allow users to vote on the best picture and the winner will be paid via Paypal or check. Third, My rules; I don't plan on making this a very strict site when it comes to what you can or cannot upload. I do however expect people to have respect. I hold the right to dismiss any picture from and contest if I feel it is disrespectful (racist, disgusting, etc) at any time. I don't have to explain my self it will just happen. Also, for whatever reason if a person has their picture uploaded to this site by another person and does not want it to be here, I will remove the picture if the person can provide a picture of them self proving they are who they are holding a sign with a code word I give them. This will prevent lawsuits and also prevent people requesting pictures to be taken down just because they want to win a contest. Fourth, Myspace; I will be doing a lot of advertising on Myspace and contest's etc. So I would advise you to add my Myspace account by clicking the link to your left or clicking here. |
